Continental Commercial Vehicles & Aftermarket has announced that its Sales Technical Training Specialist, Sean Lannoo, will join a team of TPMS experts at a special TPMS seminar during the 2018 SEMA Show called, “TPMS at 10.”

The educational event, which is sponsored by Tire Industry Association (TIA), will focus on “Understanding Original Equipment TPMS.” It will be held from 10-11 a.m. on Oct. 30 at the Las Vegas Convention Center, South Hall, S115.

Original equipment TPMS continues to evolve as the new car manufacturers find ways to improve technology and performance. This session will focus on various OE manufacturers and how the TPMS sensors communicate with the vehicle. It will identify some of the necessary procedures and guidelines for maintaining the TPMS and the steps that technicians must take to ensure it functions properly.

Noted speakers for the event also include: Matthew White, director of tire service, TIA; Mark Becker, assistant general manager, Pacific Manufacturing Ohio Inc.; and W Devon Rippetoe, senior technical service & training representative, Sensata/Schrader Performance Sensors.

Lannoo’s dedication to the tire industry has made him well known throughout the tire market, says Continental. He has conducted more than 300 training seminars and trained more than 5,000 technicians, part counter personnel, instructors and students on TPMS technology and service.
